Drummond prides itself on being responsive to the marketplace and, as such has been marketing Aire Amigo, it’s Colombian coal that is both eco-friendly and economically beneficial. The primary impact of this coal is the reduction in sulfur dioxide output, resulting from the lower inherent sulfur at Drummond Ltd's Colombian mine. 

Additionally, as utilities face more stringent NOx requirements, Aire Amigo is a lower-cost option to compliance strategy, when compared with scrubbers and other capital intensive equipment.
Drummond’s coal is marketed and sold both domestically and internationally, serving customers in the United States, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Delivery of Drummond’s coal is ensured by its proximity to both rail and ports, accommodating both large and small vessels.
