This program was formed in order to create professionals in the required competencies of Drummond Ltd. culture, allowing them to fill future supervisory positions in different areas of the mine and port.

Confidence Centered in the Being
One of the pillars of the Drummond Ltd. philosophy is confidence. Therefore, we have created strategies to develop employees who are sure of themselves in their areas of work. “Confidence Centered in the Being” includes conversational workshops where employees work on themes such as “Management of Self” and “The Art of Conversation.” Participants in these workshops range from vice presidents of operation headquarters to line supervisors. We strive to strengthen leaders and build the future of Drummond Ltd.
Sena
In order to develop employees and bolster professionalism, Drummond Ltd. has partnered with Sena (National Apprenticeship Service) to conduct many different training programs. Drummond Ltd. sponsors graduates from the region through apprenticeship contracts in partnership with SENA (National Apprenticeship Service).

Locomotive Engineer
This course is specifically designed to train people in the technical knowledge and personal skills needed to perform the duties of locomotive engineer and assistant engineer for Drummond Ltd.’s coal transport trains.
