We have a fleet of 13 trains to transport coal. Each train has three locomotives and 150 cars, with a capacity of 50 tons per car.

To transport coal from our mining operations to Puerto Drummond, we use three railcar loading facilities adjacent to our mines. Each loading facility has 6,000 tons per hour capacity.

Upon arrival at Puerto Drummond, the wagons are unloaded by three dumpers.

The railroad line we use is concessioned to Fenoco, with routes that have been extended to a double line on more than 80% of the route. Construction of this second parallel line is ongoing and is expected to be completed within the next 3 years.

Currently, at Puerto Drummond we can store up to 1.5 million tons of coal.. This coal is stored according to its quality properties, which allows us to prepare blends that meet the quality requirements of each of our customers at the moment of shipment.
