The union organization Sintramienergética reported that its members Dairo Mosquera and Juan Carlos Rojas, as well as María Méndez, an official of the Dutch non-governmental organization PAX, have received threats.
The company expresses its absolute rejection of any threat, violent action or deed that puts the integrity of any person at risk, or that violates any of their fundamental rights.
We recommend all our employees, and any citizen who receives threats, to inform the appropriate authorities so that they can take the necessary measures. Likewise, we urge the authorities to investigate the aforementioned complaints and take all necessary measures, including the prosecution of those responsible.
